This policy explains how Wellnest collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We keep it simple and human — because that's how we'd want to be treated.
Who we are
Data controller: Michal Jež, operating as Wellnest
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Contact: connect@wellnest.host
Website: wellnest.host
Wellnest is currently a pre-launch platform. We are not yet a registered legal entity. All data is controlled and processed by Michal Jež personally.
What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit it through our forms. Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Full name
- Email address
- Instagram handle
- City or neighbourhood
- Your role or interest (seeker, host, investor, collaborator)
- Information about your practice (for host applicants)
- Answers to interview questions (for host research interviews)
We do not collect any data automatically. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools at this time.
Why we collect it
We collect your data for the following purposes:
- Early access waitlist — to notify you when Wellnest launches in Lisbon
- Host applications — to review and respond to your application to join Wellnest as a host
- Research interviews — to understand how practitioners currently get found and what would genuinely help them
- Investor and collaborator enquiries — to follow up on expressions of interest
The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent checkbox on our forms.
How we store your data
Your data is stored in Google Sheets, held within Google's infrastructure (EU data centres where possible). Access is restricted to Michal Jež only.
Email notifications are sent via Google Apps Script to a Gmail account controlled by Michal Jež.
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party.
How long we keep your data
We retain your data for as long as it is relevant to the purpose for which it was collected:
- Waitlist data — until Wellnest launches and you have been notified, or until you request deletion
- Host applications and interview responses — for the duration of the research and onboarding process, or until you request deletion
You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can ask what data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data at any time
- Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
- Right to data portability — you can ask for a copy of your data in a common format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at connect@wellnest.host. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Wellnest evolves — for example, when we register as a legal entity or introduce new features. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
If we make significant changes, we will notify anyone on our waitlist by email.
